An audio file contains the rendered audio of the element or slice with all its settings and effects applied. When you drag and drop an element or slice from Spectrasonics Stylus RMX 15's interface to your DAW's sampler or instrument plugin, you can choose between two options: audio file (WAV or AIFF) or REX file. The Groove Elements section shows a list of all the note and velocity information and the rendered audio of the groove or part, which can be sliced and rearranged in your DAW. The Groove Menu section shows a list of all the grooves available in the core library and xpanders, organized by categories and subcategories. The Browser page has four main sections: Groove Menu, Groove Elements, Parts Menu, and Parts Elements. To load and browse the core library and xpanders, you need to use the Browser page of Spectrasonics Stylus RMX 15's interface.
